Chances are you clicked cause you're bored too.
Your mind is full of thoughts trapped and unable to escape.
Constant Activity. Thoughts Pouring Out. Feeling Trapped.
Those activities gotta go somewhere, yet they stay trapped. Held prisoner by your own mind.
So what do you do?
You write and write.
And we are supposed to. We are supposed to create content, we're supposed to share ideas among one another.
No, not in the 140 characters we're limited to, nor through the perfectly-edited, color-corrected, sized-and-scaled pictures we call "posts" or "shares."
No, rather through a human connection--a pouring out of the mind onto a medium that invites connection.
Something that says, "just say what you want."
Something that lets people be human, with fault and errors--but really human.
Something that is beyond the image we try to create for ourselves behind the facade of a computer screen.
I really hope that steemit could be just that--a medium for my bored mind.
