TIME TO BEGIN A COMPILATION OF CURATIONS BOTS VS THE PROMOTE BUTTON EXPERIMENT
If you're wondering where the log of your reward curation exists. You'll find it in your @Steemit wallet. I've created a test experiment! Bots vs Bots, and Bots vs the Promote Button. In this experiment the majority selection can be found in the announcement that 15 SBD would be offered in this experiment. The curations split by SBD and STEEM. Where only SBD was expended. This creates some time for calculation at the approximate prices of mentioned cryptocurrency tokens at the time of post and curation.

9 of 10 songs were uploaded in a single day within 24 hours. The Daddies Kids song was the song where 1.5 SBD was promoted with @Steemit's promote button. These are the curation result of the experiment.

As you'll quickly notice the Promote button didn't result in curation. The 1.5 SBD expenditure is nearly a complete loss. Had it not been for the bots applied, after realizing zero curation was possible, the Daddies Kids post may not have curated any rewards whatsoever. Would anyone like to calculate the cost and expense? Why do you try! Was it a profit or a loss? I'll be calculating these numbers over the next 24 hours and am hopeful to report the cost and return soon! It looks like, generally speaking, to use the Promote Button is to waste SBD that can otherwise be spent on bots assisting curation awards. However, there may be missing factors where consideration of SBD may attribute to staff assistance assisting individual accounts search engine optimization on posts that are funding the promote button.
