TANGENT TOKEN LIVE VERSION LAUNCHED - TAN OFFICIAL UPDATE

Hi Hives,
A few days ago we made an announcement of the TANGENT (TAN) Token Testing Phase Launched. We planned to launch the live version on the 05th of October, 2020. Due to the HardFork 24 (HF24) planned to process on 06th of October, 2020, we decided to delay the launch of the TANGENT (TAN) Live Version. But due to the delay of the HardFork 24 (HF24), the launch of the live version of TANGENT Token project happened today.

Is TANGENT (TAN) Ready to HF24?

Yes. We already prepared TANGENT (TAN) Script Version 1.0.2 which will support HF24 changes. And also, tested a few samples of codes successfully. Therefore, when HF24 happens not only TANGENT but also all scripts of the @HIVEUPME Curation project are already prepared to run on HF24 smoothly. We will take a minimum of downtime to shift script versions.

What is TANGENT (TAN)?

TAN is a comment-based tip token works under the @hiveupme curation project. This token can be earned via delegating to @hiveupme curator. We upgraded the TRENDO (TRDO) Token script & brought a lot of new features with the TAN token.

Is TAN Free to Earn?

Yes, people who delegated to the @hiveupme curation project, they earn VAULT as their major income which is pegged to 0.1 HIVE per VAULT (Sharing 95% of curation earning between delegators) & they are eligible to earn 25% of the TAN daily minting tokens as delegation extra token income.

How TAN Token Daily Distribution Happens?

The daily mint of TANGENT Tokens distribution happens as below:

• 25% TANGENT Tokens share between @hiveupme delegators.
• 50% TANGENT Tokens share with the comment reward bot.
• 25% TANGENT Tokens share to the developer funds to burn or sell tokens.

Does TAN Contains Maximum Caps?

Yes, of course, after releasing the Test version of the TAN project, we have identified there are Three ways to drain the TAN Token delegation & comment-based tip reward pools.

• Added 15% Maximum Cap to Delegation based reward pool. Therefore, whales can't drain & ninja mine the reward pool by large delegations.
• Added another 15% Maximum Cap to the Token Holders Comment based tip reward pool. Therefore, no one can drain the Comment based tip reward pool by holding a large amount of tokens as well.
• Finally we have added 15% Maximum Cap to the Daily Comment Call reward earning too.

How to Summon TAN Comment Reward Bot?

You can use either one of the below listed command at Post => Comment Section to summon the TANGENT (TAN) Comment based reward bot.

• $tangent
• $tan
• !tangent
• !tan

What are the Limitations?

The below listed limitations also added to TANGENT script.

• You should hold atleast 10 TAN Tokens to summon the comment bot.
• TAN Reward script works on 50% reward & 50% curation module.
• You can't summon the bot more than 3 days older posts.
• You can summon the bot for 3 successful calls per day.
• 15% Maximum Cap also added as we discussed above.

What happens to 25% of Developer Share

At the initial phase, we sell these tokens at the HIVE-ENGINE market place. Later we will burn these tokens to keep a low Circulating Supply of the token.

What Feature will be added to TANGENT?

TANGENT (TAN) has no staking enabled yet. This will be our #1 priority so far.

TAN is a free token. So you can earn it freely. If you wish to invest in this token, we are strongly advising you, don't investment more than you can afford.

TAN is the Hive chain TRDO. But this has lot of more features and limitations to keep as a long term project.

TRDO project failed due to higher token supply, manual token mint and lot other reasons. With TAN I am trying to avoid those mistakes I have done at TRDO project.
