A few weeks ago I did a little experiment so see what profit or loss I would generate if I used my total amount of 9.1 SBD to buy upvotes. The result is a loss of -0.046 SBD and a profit of 2.459 SP.
Ethical question: to continue or not?
On average I estimate that I earn 1-3 Steem per week (that already includes the SBD pay out being transferred into Steem). So by using the paid bots I will at least earn the same and most likely even more.
Now let's assume I can scale this up. And that I have 50 SBD. That should make it possible to make a 5 times higher profit. Resulting in a weekly profit of 10+ Steem.
If I want to earn something on Steemit I should start up scaling and but more upvotes. Even if I plan to stay blogging and commenting I could argue that I should use the bots to the maximum. As having a higher SP will give me other benefits in the long term.
Personally I have always been against bots. But I wonder if above mentioned arguments justify to use the paid bots? I would love to hear your opinion about this subject and have a conversation about it!

As you can see in the end the SBD return is lower. This is caused by the decrease of the Steem price.

Well I am doubting between the SBI, so that you also would profit for it and something else.
My preferred option is that you use the 0.5 SBD to power up Steem. It is the fastest way to grow, and if you grow I grow.
So, it is up to you decided between powering up and the SBI Share.
In one of my latest posts I wrote that I earn like an average of 2 Steem per week. That adds up to 100 Steem per year. Unless I get some kind of milk cow my Steemit account will always remain some small pocket money. (Which is no problem at all)
So now you know this, will you stick with your choice? In that case I would buy 1 sbi Share.

You could use something like smartsteem to sell some of your upvotes. Set it that will only upvote, when the voting power is above 95%. That why you probably won't notice it!

Smartsteem will most Hardly give me any reward since I only have 35 SP. 25% APR would result in 8.75 Steem per year. But then I should use all my upvotes for smartsteem.
Commenting on each post from Stimp1024 is a possibility. I did for a few, but never won. So I was guessing it would take lots of time with only a small return. That made me realize I have only limited time available and so much to discover.
I think I already said this before, but if I really would like to become a Steemit dolphin or even Orca, I should invest a huge amount of fiat money. But I'm not willing to do so. Because I think crypto is really high risk. Or maybe even more like gambling. And I don't believe the Steemit concept is sustainable in the long term.
