Hi @markangeltrueman, curie team huh? 👍 always at 100% unless something changes in the future of @zenbot (like if it becomes automated like other bots...but that's not my intention)

I guess if you get more than 20 articles a day, you are going to have to reduce the percentage, otherwise your VP is just going to keep on dropping day by day?

(Yeah, curie team ;) )

Curie is awesome :D I hope I won't start getting 20 articles per day and if worse comes to worst, I can always queue them as a temporary solution. Will that work? It's an experiment for me.

Curie is awesome - hope we have your witness vote ;)

As for the queuing; once you start getting more than 20 votes per day, that won't make any difference - your queue will just get longer and longer as you have a max of 20 upvotes per day at 100%.

I think for this sort of service you are going to need either a lot more VP to allow you to upvote with a lower percentage per post, or to charge less to make it worthwhile for people to "take the risk" that you like their work. Looks like your max upvote at the moment is just over $2. Once you take out the approximately 20% curation rewards (its not quite 25%), the poster will then receive, $1.60. They are still getting a bit of a return.

I suspect your best bet is a rolling scale depending on how many submissions you are approving. Once you start getting 20, maybe reduce your cost to $0.5 and then you can upvote at 50%, doubling your votes per day but giving about the same percentage return on investment from the authors.

I like the concept. Will be interesting to see how it goes. Might even try it myself

Curie has my vote :) Thank you for the tips and ideas, adding more sp isn't a bad idea (any time of the day!) but reducing the fees seeing how many steemians don't even have 1 SBD just might do the trick! Really appreciate your time brainstorming on this one :D

As an experiment, I just tried it with my last post. I'll see if i can see what the final reward is (if you upvote it), when it's paid out.

Cool, I'm going to recharge (~3 hours left) and cast the vote.
