Hey @gleek - unfortunately things are very complicated right now as you mentioned. The issue is that the steemit.com UI shows post rewards with a dollar sign (even though they are not dollars) and assumes that 1 SBD = 1 USD, which is not even remotely true anymore.
To deal with this by default the bot tracker site shows all values in actual USD and does all the currency conversions for you based on the current rates. Nevertheless it is still an overly confusing situation and I wish there was something more I could do about that.

No .. I just found your posts that were something in common peoples language .. so I thought maybe I should ask ... Even there is no complete guide to steem itself .. I guess first I need to read a lot about it then come back here .. else its wasting time here
