Hi @shasta i had run out of boulders till i looked through my archive and found this lot which i think you will like in the way we have used these boulders in fun and entertainment.
Gosh these photos go back nine years damn time flies it only seems like yesterday. It was when i first met my girlfriend in Thailand 2010 as you can see the year on the photos i decided to take her to Phuket , Thailand on a island called Phi Phi island.
We stopped on a island called Monkey Island to feed the monkeys before heading to Phi Phi island they were very hungry monkeys and there were hundreds of then on this island they owned the island making good use of the boulders also.
After taking a few snap shots of the boulders and the monkeys it was enough with the monkeys we were of to our paradise island Phi Phi which was about another 20 minutes speed boat ride to this island from monkey island.
Phi Phi island is known for it's secluded beach with clear blue water & coral reefs for snorkeling & scuba diving. The island lays in the Strait of Malacca.
There are a few island within this area and all are just a piece of paradise some have resorts on them if you like to stay for a couple nights or so and others are just day tours for a bit of snorkeling or scuba diving.
Phi Phi is a group of six islands and Phi Phi Leh hosts stunningly beautiful bays and beaches, including the world-famous Maya Bay, which was the set where The Beach (with Leonardo Di Caprio) was filmed.
And on Phi Phi Don the other side of Phi Phi Leh is what they call now James Bond island is where the movie Gold Finger was filmed. So you see these Phi Phi island have a lot of history with movie stars and are the most visited islands in Thailand. That's me on the cliff top doing my part in the James Bond movie....hehe :)
Getting to Phi Phi islands is just a 45-minute speedboat trip or a 90-minute ferryboat ride from either Phuket or Krabi.
