Although the grass is still brown and the trees not in foliage from the winter, it is always a nice scenic drive to go to Souris, a quiet Canadian seaside town on PEI. Souris is about 45 min. from my house.
The first thing you see when you cross the causeway is the Souris beach with the boardwalk and many touristy shops and eateries.
The beach is well known as a great place to find sea glass, bird watch, dig for clams or have a swim.

With the tides washing in and out again the shore, it takes a lot of sand with it as it goes out.

Looks like a nice place to go to. I know the boulders for beach protection from a lot of Italian beaches. One minor downside to this solution in mine opinion, no more big waves on the beach to dive in.

Thanks @tijntje. I always enjoy going there. Even with the barriers there still seems to be good sized waves crashing into the shore at times.
Nice beach with boulders photography.
Thanks @kamrunnahar!
Those are sure pretty boulders and a wonderful
barrier to hold the nano baby boulders back! :-)
Beautiful view there @redheadpei! Does the
tide go out far enough to climb on them?
Thank you so much for posting these awesome
boulders for #bouldersunday! I sure enjoy seeing them!
Thanks Shasta @shasta ...glad you enjoyed seeing them.
