SKYFchain OP technical - The SKYFchain structure is based on two basic groups:

  1. SKYFchine Blockchain itself - private licensed blockchain is dedicated to the most effective use in the industry or company.
  2. Ethereum of ERC-20 SKYT tiken based blockchain for completing and handling KYFT transactions, connectining back, and forth with SKYFchain.

Private (licensed) blockchain is required to simplify development and support and provide the opportunity to choose the most suitable solution for each particular task. Furthermore, we want to be independent of public network performance (e.g. scalability issues with Ethereum) and do not wait for transactions to be made on the public network. Currently we are studying three different styles for SKYFchain: making their own Ethereum fork, a dedicated SKYF platform, built on the Exonym library or derived from R3 Corda blockchain.

SKYFT token Sync

The SKYFT tokens are the currency of all operations in SKYFchain. All contracts are processed in the SKYFT token. Although the token is published in the public Ethereum network, the token is also fully used in SKYFchain. There are many options for syncing. The use of common Etherrium network parameters is the obvious way, but ensures SKYFchain performance due to different transaction speeds. Additionally, the additional costs of operating a public Etherrium network can undermine key benefits. Creating additional "internal code" as an alternative approach greatly increases the complexity of the system because it depends on the synchronization process that consumes resources between internal and external balance.

SKYFchain Architecture

Building private blockchain (licensed) is required to fully support all industrial operations with reasonable speed and speed. Choosing the right consensus protocol is one of the key points for it. The most common (and proven to be more effective or less effective) are: Proof-of-work (POW) as in public networks Ethereum, Proof-if-Authority (POA) as in Ripple, As in Decree’s public network, Proof-of stake (POS) like in Decred public network and also different variations.
