The XYO Network has four main components, Sentinels, Bridges, Archivists, and Diviners. These four components allow geo-location, consensus building and unreliability of location data. This means that when you write a smart contract that specifies an object that appears at a particular XY coordinate, if it appears there, you will know that it is in that position with great certainty. for All this is done without the risk of tampering with positioning devices as verified by hundreds of Sentinels in the Oracle XY Network with the longest Proof of Origin (thus giving more confidence to detection).

The Sentinel component is the heuristic witness. They observe the heuristic and ensure the certainty and accuracy of the discovery by creating a time ledger. The most important aspect of the Sentinel is that it creates books that the Diviners can be sure of coming from the same source by adding a Proof of Origin to them.

The bridge is the spontaneous carrier. They safely transfer the heuristic ledger from the Sentinels to the Diviners. The most important aspect of a bridge is that the diviner can be sure that the heuristic ledger received from a bridge has not been altered in any way. The second most important aspect of a bridge is that they add a Proof of Origin.

Storage components store heuristics in a decentralized form for the purpose of having all history records stored, but without that requirement. Even if some data is lost or temporarily unavailable, the system continues to operate, but only with low accuracy. The archives also have indexes so they can return a sequence of ledger data if needed. The archives only store raw data and are only paid for data retrieval. Archive is always free.

Diviner answers a certain question by analyzing historical data stored by the XYO Network . To do this, heuristics stored in the XYO Network must have a high level of evidence of origin to assess the validity and accuracy of the discovery by assessing the witness based on the Proof of Origin. Because the XYO network is an unreliable system, diviners must be encouraged to provide an honest analysis of heuristics. Unlike Sentinels and Bridges, Diviners use Proof of Work to add answers to blockchains.
