JOSHUA V PARKER
It's the big fight week! Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs) and Joseph Parker (24-0, 18 KOs) go head-to-head in Cardiff, Wales in front of a sold out Principality Stadium (80,000), for a mega-fight worth millions of $$$..
The main prize on offer however is the chance to unify the WBA (Super), IBF, IBO and WBO World Heavyweight titles.
To celebrate this major boxing event, all the fights from this week's predictor are from the Joshua vs Parker card!
Both of these guys are undefeated champions, but where as Anthony Joshua (20-0-0), is now an established household name since dethroning faded Heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley last summer, and regularly selling out football stadiums in the UK, Joseph Parker (24-0-0), is more of an unknown quantity to the average boxing fan. Parker has quietly gone about his work in New Zealand since picking up the vacant WBO title with a close decision against Andy Ruiz Jr in December 2016. He did get a scrappy win over fringe contender Hughie Fury in Manchester, UK at the backend of 2017, which raised more questions than answers over his true level..
Also in Cardiff on Saturday 31st, after recently vacating his IBF World title, unified champ Ryan Burnett of Northern Ireland (18-0-0) will defend his WBA Bantamweight title against Venezuelan mandatory challenger Yonfrez Parejo (21-2-1).
Further down the bill, Olympic Gold Medal winner Alexander Povetkin of Russia (33-1-0), has been matched against David Price of Liverpool (22-4-0), for the WBA and WBO heavyweight inter-continental and international titles. Which is a fancy way of saying whoever wins has a very good chance of a life changing pay-day against either Joshua or Parker further down the road..

Well I got the last fight a bit wrong! What a brutal knock-out that was!! WTF happened to Mr Price?! He looked out on his feet when Povetkin got the salt and pepper pot out. HaHa! he took his time and lined that punch up like a beast! As for Joshua...
All in all, it was just another fucking showcase of how rigged boxing can be. The refs for the Joshua & Povetkin fight were a disgrace. Why the hell did the ref step in when Price knocked Povetkin over to the corner? He never touched the floor and as far as I am aware they don't give a standing 8 count like that! Price should have been sprinting to that corner to finish him off. But that was bad reffing. It was the ref for the Joshua fight that ruined the night. Joshua obviously wanted to go 12 rounds and robbed fans of a good fight, due to him not bothering to step up a gear. But then he didn't need to because the ref had the same game plan as AJ! Fucking Hearn is a slimy as he looks and will trash boxing if he keeps playing these games. IHats off to Burnett for fighting an amazingly intelligent fight after breaking his hand in the 3rd. His reactions are fast as fuck! It's a shame Burnett's fight was a little dull because otherwise we would have had 2 decent fights. But hey... That knock-out was a banger, so it kind of made up for things.
