The human brain sometimes seems to take weird decisions.
Many of us do irrational things without even realizing it.
These are 6 psychological phenomena that have a huge impact on us.

The influence of the majority on an individual
At home, you comfortable wearing a ripped shirt, but when you’re with strangers you act as polite as you can.
The behavior of a person doesn’t only depend on who they’re talking to, it also depends on who is around.
For example, a man might give up his seat in a bus to impress a woman and those around.
Try to ask yourself “Am I doing this because I want to, or because I want approval from other people?”.
People act differently when it comes to interest in an experiment
Experiments bring us something new, and that makes us act in a certain way, having a positive attitude towards it.
For example, when you’re in a supermarket and someone invites you to taste something, you will appreciate it as something unique and good, but if you had it at home, it wouldn’t make you excited.
Keep your head clear in any situation – being a part of an experiment doesn’t mean that you have to approve with it.
We have a demonstrative preference for expensive stuff
This effect is dominant through young people who want to have a good social position.
This way, things that are cheaper or on sale are perceived as being defect. If you only want to buy a Gucci bag and go on a trip just to post pictures on Instagram, you have a problem.
Before you buy something, ask yourself if you really need it or you’re just doing it to impress.
People who make mistakes seem nicer.
We like them, they seem funny and nice. Perfection irritates us.
So don’t be afraid to be a little clumsy, sometimes that makes us attractive. It’s easier to get along with someone who aren’t afraid to show that they’re not perfect.
We over-appreciate the attention we get
This is called the Reflector phenomenon. We have the feeling that everyone is looking at us and they all see our flaws and mistakes.
People see our imperfections more rarely than we think. Even if you have a stain on your shirt, don’t stress over it, not many people will notice, and they probably won’t care anyway.
The more people there are around, the fewer will help you
This is called the Witness effect. When someone needs help and there are a lot of people there, there are a few chances that someone will jump in to help because everyone thinks that someone else will do it.
If you’re in trouble, ask only one person to help you, this way you will have more chances to get help.
This article is very interesting. I knew some of them, maybe not by their scientific names, but the last one, the Witness effect, I had no clue about it. Post like this one makes you question your whole existence, in a good way. Thank you for sharing.
I would say that the only real reason someone would choose to do something that they would actually rather not do (as per their preferences) is that they do not want the anticipated consequences of NOT doing it to come true.
It seems to me that we are all naturally (and logically) following what we perceive to be the path of least resistance to get as close to happiness as possible and as far from unhappiness as possible. Of course, we all have different preferences. Our foundational preferences were simply not chosen by us at all. They are what they are because of the surrounding environment into which we were born, completely outside of our control.
See what I'm getting at?
Any activity that we BOTH have no desire to do AND know that not doing it will have no undesirable consequences is an activity that is fundamentally ruled out from possibility. We didn't choose our desires. To test this assertion, try now to GENUINELY cease desiring something that you strongly desire. Conversely, try to GENUINELY desire something that you have absolutely no desire for.
Can you do it? GENUINELY?
Simply some freaks are in the medical profession it's quiet upsetting to manipulate a human brain . A brain can do whatever activities it's likes without any sacastic wankers around it
Makes so much sense!
this is important information for us!!
