Today we will be taking a look at the Brave Browser, and it's important new features. We are going to take a look at it from crypto perspective where we dive down the Rabbit Hole and take an in-depth look at the new features and the technology driving it.
New Brave SpeedReader Improves on Existing Reader Mode Technology

This article outlines the features that they have added and then it gets into a little bit of the technology behind the new features.
The main features listed, they talk about the new Facelift for the reader mode.
If you think back, probably Safari browser was one of the initial browsers that touted having a nice and swift speed reader mode where you can essentially remove all of the chatter or background advertisements and animations from pages so that they would load faster and you would be presented with the actually main content of a web page a lot faster and more efficiently.

So, they talk about privacy enhancement and if you actually go ahead and take a look at Brave itself, that's where you get into the nitty-gritty and might experience what's actually going on behind the scenes.

On Brave site itself they talked about the speed reader, fast and private reader for the web.
Now typical mode readers that provide speed reading capabilities to improve performance, they really only touch the surface level.
Privacy
It also talks about significant privacy benefits which includes a complete elimination of Ad and tracking related requests.
Tracking
Tracking definitely is one of the important things that people are concerned nowadays is being tracked. You are constantly being tracked with almost anything and everything you do on an electronic device.
If you have a modern day smartphone, you are being tracked and you probably don't even know the significant level that you are being tracked at. (Particularly if you are using an iPhone, you pretty much are the victim of background tracking to the note of someone knowing where you are going, when you are going and being able to predict when you are going to go somewhere).
New Performance Approach and The Reader Mode
They get into some of the performance and privacy gains. Now, one of the things they do different is the fact that they actually have a strategy on how to improve the performance in their browser.
They use a machine learning classifier to actually take at based HTML pages which is your base URL link, they look at that itself before actually grabbing all of the video content and the advertisement content which may essentially be third party or it maybe add-on information to the base page that you are visiting.
They analyse that page to determine whether they even should go out and get that additional content which maybe video clips, advertised banners etc and they don't do the actually grabbing of that additional content which saves you on your bandwidth and helps you as far as your download time.
So, this is a fantastic improvement and an open source project that actually has a cryptocurrency backing in the back token where you can actually contribute to website providers and people hosting websites and you can actually contribute your cryptocurrency as far as tips to help them offset the expenses of running these sites through your contributions in the back token as opposed to them running those ads and spam adding you with their content as well.

I'm a long-time user of the browser. though it has a few flaws it is definitely fast and certainly private (as verified by some of my background connection blockers/scanners).

I've been using Brave for over a year, and I love it. Only issue I've had so far is, for some reason, it absolutely will not load Dtube anymore. I have no clue why. I'm assuming it's something on the page's end, but, I don't know. Go to Dtube, get a blank white page. Have to go back to Chrome when I wanna use Dtube. You have the same problem, @androsform?
These "tubesites", always full of weird cookies, my momy told me not to eat those cookies...
