Teams Up league, is it worth the time?
I enjoy the game of poker. Have enjoyed playing poker for years. It's a game with many levels to the play and counter plays. The knowledge I have of the game is not great, the basics of the game I do know a bit beyond just what the ranking hands are.
With the launch of a team up poker league, my interest perked. However since it began, I have begun to lose interest. The fun in playing has diminished to some extent for the ambition of scoring points. 9 games that can be played per day is a bit much to keep up with and leaves little to no time for anything else.
The field size is also dropping off and players beginning the game and then just sitting out to make up numbers for the game. Does nothing but prolong the game longer than it needs to be.
9 games played over 14 - 16 hours is just too much time to give to one thing. In an effort to gain more players, it is beginning to lose my interest. I have never been on a site that held a league with 9 games per day to it.
There is no point to bringing these things up any other place. I know the response it would get, so I just do my venting here in a post that very few will read.
I no longer enjoy the playing as much as I should. Which is kind of sad. I have been an active supporter and have invited many to play some of which do from time to time. I cannot though be inviting more to play Team Up type games when to gain any position just takes too much personal time away.
The ambition to do well in the tournament is lost and non existent now.
Most of the games are games I personally do not like, Omaha is not a game I like, but there are a few of those per day. Omaha Hi lo I do like and generally one a day the very last game. Pot limit games are not games I play either. Many of the game are also on a 6 player table again games I would not normally enter.
It seems I am beginning to play poker for all the wrong reasons and losing interest in playing because of that.

It is like a lot of things in life, we go in with an open heart, a desire to see if it will work for us or not. I tried steem monsters, drug wars, colony games on steem, I'll likely try other games on Hive when they come out. I expect to be dissatisfied with most future block chain games I find due to the actions of the first three I tried on steem. I lost interest pretty quick on the second two, when the fun is gone and people are there to game the game then there is no point to the game, if that makes any damned sense at all.
When the fun is gone it is gone.
