Yesterday we talked a bit on some ideas we had on how to use some of our liquid hive to expand our treasury holdings.
However, today we noticed that @empoderat upped his gifu bag. He was already a heavy supporter but today he holds over 22 million gifu. That's over 2% of our supply and it's an honor he shows this kind of trust to our project.
@empoderat happens to run a great project called power ventures. Without the boring semantics, it's a tribaldex pool where every hive is soft pegged to 1 pwr token. The pool is running for over a year now, has great liquidity and pays daily an impressive 30 %.
With all the above in mind, it only makes sense to support a reliable project that pays juicy daily dividends. So we took all the liquid hive we had (except what we owe to our gif artists) and paired it in the pool.
That marks our second passive income source (after RUG) and now we have two investments in our treasury bringing regular income to the project, on top of the deals we make with other projects (like with splinterlands and bbh).
Our current PWR pool position pays approximately 0.4 hive a day, half in hive and half in pwr. Yes, it's not much. But every bit helps and remember that's on top our current rug divs.
In other news, rumors are a new hive project will soon invest in Gifu 🤫

It's a good idea to put leftover Hive to earning, otherwise it would just sit around and stagnate. Every little bit helps and it's awesome that you can support a big GIFU holders' project with this aswell.
