crypto-bridge is not, and never has been, a Decentralized Exchange. It was a centralized bridge connecting IOUs to BitShares' Decentralized Exchange. a custodial setup to get in eg Bitcoin and trade in for actual on-chain assets such as BTS.

    I agree, if this were a true DEX depositors wouldn't have to depend on them to remove their money.
