It certainly seems possible.. The reality of having a completely invented faith based means of exchange..
Might also be the rise of crypto payment systems fast cheap transaction coins xrp,xlm,even doge seem to be fairing much better than rest of market even had gains to BTC(not against USD though sadly)
Steem has that haha
Ye problem steem also has unlimited supply with an inflation rate compared to which Venezuela seems like a stable economy
