It's easy to say "Save money" but actually doing it, well that is an entire different story.
Bills to pay, school books to buy, kids growing and needing new clothes etc etc etc and of course dad needs to buy mum an anniversary gift and birthday present, not to mention a few flowers every now and then when he makes mum angry!
So it isn't as easy as it sounds!
Christmas just went by and it may seem that it always, no matter what we do kind of takes those extra few bucks that we have out of the budget. Every year, same ol' story.
So, here is one simple savings plan that makes it all kind of easier to achieve.
Although in my opinion I think it would be easier to do backwards, to make the figure get lower every week!
So as we get closer to Christmas, we are saving petty cash figures and we can kind of enjoy it throughout the year as the number gets lower and lower per week!
Why am I talking about Christmas in January?
Well, this year is the year that I can see a lot of things happening here on Steemit, I can also see that if my wife and I don't start planning on time, that we shall be doing the same old things over and over. We want to make our dream of settling down in our own home this year. So every cent needs to be planned and budgeted and Christmas is VERY important to us!!!!
So here it is.
Our Christmas savings fund laid out, plain an simple. So when it comes to that special time of year for the family and in particular for the kids, we shall have a nice budget set aside!
As you can see, I'm not talking any big heavy duty figures, no splurging out and renting out yachts or anything like that, but enough to ensure the kids remember Christmas and that we don't have to "stress out" during those few weeks to and after Chrissie!
What do you think?
This really inspire me to start keeping money for this christmas
Excellent!
