Ah the great outdoors! What could be better? But what if the great outdoors moves indoors?
The It's a Jungle in Here Photography Contest
Lately I've been observing all of the unusual bugs that find there way into my home. I've decided to take a few photos of them to show you samples of what I'm looking for. Keep in mind that I don't have a macro lens but just my phone. I'm sure that you can do much better.
This guy was crawling up the wall in the hallway just outside my office.
Don't forget to pan out to prove to me that the big is inside the house!
The guy was sitting on the ledge of the kitchen window. It looks like a plane ready to take off!
Please pan out even farther than this to show us where the bug is!
Here's a colorful little fellow that I saw on the window ledge in my bedroom!
Don't forget to pan out a little farther than this!

oh wow!
that's a hard one !
I don't think I got bugs inside our house :D
unfortunately no, so I'll sit this one out and maybe have some popcorn!
Hmmm....never had a fly venture into your home? Seek and you will find. :)
yes I did
some fruit fly
unfortunately, they seem to have headed South like the Ducks these days :D
I do have some chrysallis of 3 cabbage butterflies in a jar which am waiting to hatch - 3 of them :D
but am not sure that would be considered a bug already :D
Personally I hate to see bugs in house! So no way to be a part of this contest!@kus-knee,
Cheers~
Take a picture of you throwing them outside.
I did a promo post to make sure all my people got the word about the contest!!! Great to see you building the community feel here OD.

Thanks for the support and the nice entry. Ever used Steemhunt.com? As communities build and SMT's start it would be cool to have a site for contests.
I think it's a good idea, I think it will be a success!

Well done!
Its Jungle out Here contest!!: @kus-knee challenges accepted.
I was trying to use the toilet when I saw a small coachroach, the dude seems like he is have a good time alone away from his mum,
Or perhaps he is lost and trying to find his way home ,I stop and went back inside grabbed my phone and zoomed the camera then took a few shots.
I checked to see the situation in the bathroom and it was clean, then how did the coachroach make this place it's home then it occured to me that my flat was fumigated and we forgot to fumigate the bathroom and perhaps while it was trying to look for good air it found its way into o the bathroom.
Trust me it wasn't easy trying to get a good shot as it gathered momentum and speed when I move close to it .

Hello @kus-knee, it is my entry: https://steemit.com/bug/@bluesapphire06/it-s-a-jungle-in-here-photography-contest-beetle
A beetle crawling in my place mat at the dining area.
Captured by my Samsung S7 edge.
Thank you! 😊😊
Very well done!
Thank you so much! 😊
I would love to take part in this event. Since I moved to a warmer part of China I have had some incredibly big spiders in my home, as big as my hand. I have gotten some photos of them on the ceiling but I am too terrified to get a close up. haha. For guy who grew up in Muskoka, catching crayfish and leeches for the purpose of using them as fish bait, I don't know why I can't get over my fear of bugs. Maybe I can muster up the courage to share here next time I see one.
I'd love to see a photo of those spiders. Just stand back a bit and then zoom in while editing.
Man Muskoka, the joys of exiting the lake with leeches attached to my leg.
I had so many adventures and so many great memories of camping, boating and fishing there!
Looking forward to your entry!
cause creeping critters is all I now see
but they too deserve an artistic verse
framed in a contest in photos immersed.Someone has bugged my friend @kus-knee
You certainly do have a way with words. Have you got the bug too?
Awesome theme! I love taking close-ups of insects :)
If a terrace counts, here is my entry:
If a garden counts, I have a better one:
Those are fabulous photos. Perhaps I'll do a mundane as art with a them of bugs. These would definitely qualify for that! Beautiful!
Thank you :) And thanks for hosting these creative contests, it is fun!
I wish I could enter, but, I actually couldn't find any bugs in the house. Maybe I can import a few?
Tip!
Be patient and wait until night time! :)
OMG! That was funny! Seriously, I was looking at night. We never have been lucky enough to have bugs. Once I did have a spider. shivers
Recipe for bugs:
Wait until dark. Turn on interior lights. Open the windows making sure all screens have been removed.
Wait about 30 minutes. Now close the windows making sure that all screens have been re-installed.
Look for bugs again.
If this doesn't work I'm sorry but I can't help you.
Check! You crazy Canadian. LOL
You got that right!
The only problem with that here in Michigan is the mosquitoes will suck you dry before you can grab a camera LOL
This is my entry
Very nice praying mantis! Good one!
Great idea. It is a pity that the other day, I kicked out a lizard that got into the house in an incomprehensible way

Bugs.@kus-knee, In my opinion, most of the times when people see bugs in their home then for sure they try to get rid of it as soon as possible but you've come up with an post and not just post it also contains deep details of

That's hard! My wife hates all these little creatures and removes them as soon as they appear. I hope to find something by the end of the contest.
Get her to take a photo before the removal and then share the prize with her!
Good idea, thank you! Anyway, I share all the prizes with her.

Thanks for the pictures. I can't tell though if these were shot IN the house.
Okay this looks interesting and I wish this contest runs long enough for me to be able to finally find a good looking bug inside my house :D
Once you start looking you might be surprised at what you find. Steemit is good motivation to look at things in a different way.
Looking forward to you bugging me!
True that, steemit is full of new things and motivation. I am sure I will be witnessing something I might not have seen yet
Thanks for creating this cool contest which I will definitely have to enter since I also find many interesting bugs in my house since I live in Central America. These guys love living in our house. lol.

Thanks a lot @jlufer. It's a nice phot of a lizzard. This time we are looking for bugs (insects). Thanks for taking the time to come by and have a look!
@ kus-knee Hooo, noooo, misunderstand the slogan. wait almost a week for this animal to come, visit us once or twice a week,
I am sorry for the confusion

I am afraid of them

Fortunately (for me) I succeeded. A small spider fell into the trap(bathtub). It was a model for a few minutes and then saved it (my wife doesn't know)!
