I was about to make only one post because I do not think there's a lot of things to tell about macaroons. Unfortunately, I did get a bit carried away and now, there's another part to this series.
I would have gladly made this into one post but, my air dry clay are still not done and, I think the other part deserves more explanation.
So, into basic macaroons!
Start by flattening a piece of clay.
Use a cookie cutter. Its the easiest, most convenient way on creating that perfect shape.
Use any tool to add the details on the side. I put mine on top of anything that would make it easier for me to do the details without mooshing the piece at all.

For filling, you can just cut another piece of the clay and "sandwich it."
Or, you can use the clay extruder to create a more fancier macaroon version.0
