RE: @buildawhale will no longer vote on comments starting tomorrow AM.

The obvious difference between bidding and paying for an upvote is that one is guaranteed. But I just want to know bidding for upvotes works. Do you only upvote the highest bidder?

Sort:

We add up all the bids and figure out what percentage everyone gets based on their bid. Then we upvote with that %.

so if the bid at 100% is let's say $150 and all bids together go over, that does not mean all voters will get less?

Yes, that's why we suggest everyone to use the tool by @yabapmatt

https://s3.amazonaws.com/yabapmatt/bottracker/bottracker.html

I just used it and it showed me that I have 3 minutes until the end, I paid some money in, and than my money went into new countdown. Looks like I can't rely on it. Or that's your setting of the bot (if there is not at least $XXX paid in, bot does not vote - and you are voting just when you can make every voter poorer and yourself richer). I'm just assuming

It is voting right now. The tool will reset the countdown for the next vote cycle (which starts immediately after we cast the first vote, but will still be voting for the first few minutes).

We are doing the last 3 votes and it will be asleep for the rest of the window.

If you got your bid in before the timer got to 0, you should have a vote any second now.

still nothing. I went into my wallet so I can copy paste
