can you please explain why my friend @belair has been put on your blacklist?
He's a straight-up guy with an AMAZING network, and ought to be treated more like a celebrity than an outlaw.
He has NOT spammed anyone/anything.
ALL the content he has posted is his own.
There is NOTHING in his posts about ANY sort of scam or fraud.
Please explain, as this really makes no sense...
46 posts (not comments) in a day...
Yes, because he’s new to Steemit and that was his first day migrating his content over.

Can you please provide reference to what site rules this strategy has broken, such that it is justified spamming him with such notifications put out by a bot rather than a live human being with the ability to properly discern the situation?
Unfortunately, no. What rules and tactics I use to identify spam are proprietary and disclosing what I do and use would move the line and make it more difficult to identify spam, plagiarists, and bad actors.
I don't get paid to find 10-200 spammers a day, I don't have time to sit and have a conversation with every spammer and plagiarist I identify and wait for that conversation to play out and then add them to the list and look behind my back all the time and find the same bad actors at some later date. It is hard enough to find and identify spammers and get them blacklisted appropriately without devoting my entire life to it. It takes a lot of time and research to find and identify, something I don't want to do over and over for the same users.
Once I find and identify a bad actor, I blacklist it and move on to the next one.
I will look into the account and review it again.
Hey @themarkymark I appreciate you taking the time to review the account. I'm new to steemit and honestly, don't know what I'm doing. I thought it was a regular blog platform that I could just migrate my content over. I have so much content and create two new pieces minimum daily and normally post to youtube which you can see here http://www.youtube.com/c/mattbelairshow, soundcloud, IG @mattbelair and facebook. If you could advise me on the regulations or do's and dont's that would be amazing. Right now I've learned to keep it to 5 posts or less a day? Would I be in compliance then? I appreciate your work and algorithm finding spammers, that shit is annoying. I wasn't posting to spam, just to migrate and happy to learn the guidelines.

I have removed you from the blacklist.
It is generally acceptable to post 1-2 times a day, as many as five can be still considered normal. Quality of content is more important than frequency. There is no set count, and I evaluate on a case by case basis.
Posting 46 in a single day is what triggered being added to the list. There is no reasonable scenario that 46 top-level posts would be normal.
I understand you were migrating your blog and have removed you. Something like that would be better done a few a day, not even referring to our blacklist, no one can or will read or upvote 46 posts in a single day.
Hey @themarkymark I really appreciate that! My thought was migration as I have 150 episodes and record 3-5 new ones per week so I thought I was just putting in some work haha. All of the podcasts are great content. Maybe I'll post 1 new one and up to 2 old ones per day? Or should I just focus on the new content? Also I was thinking of uploading all the video to DTube because it's a more secure server. I record the show via vimeo, post to youtube, then edit it for the podcast, then I make a blog. That's how I did it in the regular platforms, what would you advise for steemit?. I appreciate what you do for steemit as it's important and taking the time to review my case~
Big Love!

Hey @themarkymark I just wanted to double check that I was taken off the list. I just posted something and got the auto spam reply again. Does it take some time to be taken off? Thanks :)
All fixed. See other comment.
Thanks, Mark.
I understand, and appreciate your contributions to helping keep this place clean and weeding out the inappropriate conduct.
