i got on ok to a point now i need help
so i went thought the guid and then i got this error

you need to put rpc-endpoint = 127.0.0.1:8090 in the config.ini file

I think the wallet connects to the steemd service to connect to the blockchain and it needs this ip address to do it.

maybe this is technically wrong but i think it will fix your issue :)
