Professor Doom has been arrested for a violent robbery. Doom and his associates made many threats on social media. Those threats were reported by several individuals and went uninvestigated.
Many videos and whole channels are now being deleted from YouTube in light of the recent Florida shootings at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and the failure of both YouTube and law enforcement agencies to investigate the reported threats made by Nikolas Cruz.
This Professor Doom video was temporarily deleted by YouTube but then restored within an hour after submitting an appeal. I am going to try using Steemit as much as possible due to this crackdown.
This video is not just about Professor DOOM but about the ongoing harassment by some of the same [Doom] associations and what can be learned from this. How does social media play a role in today's society? What checks and balances will need to be integrated or enforced?
