Undoubtedly, it is a relevant and very valid question, in my opinion, this can be seen from several edges, because each person interprets the meaning of a leader according to their history, experience and his way of looking at life.
We could start with the businessman's gaze, the entrepreneur can be measured by his exploits in the business world through his actions, how he earns large amounts of money and seeks the desperate increase in his belongings. And this seemingly solid and prosperous success on many occasions makes seeing a complete leader. However, that is not enough to be a person respected and admired by those around him.
The first thing we must question and understand is the meaning of the word success, and that by result is not only an accumulation of material wealth. Great spiritual leaders say that the perfect balance lies between a material and a spiritual world. This is not just about religion, but of facts oriented towards the people that surround us and where both points mentioned converge and form a perfect balance.
Let's read a little what Steve Jobs left us before he died:
"Only now I understand, once you accumulate enough money for the rest of your life, that we have to pursue other goals that are not related to wealth. Lost material things can be found. But there is one thing you can never find when you lose: the life.
Whatever the stage of life we are in at this moment, in the end we will have to face the day when the curtain will fall. Make treasure in love for your family, in love for your husband or wife, in love for his friends.... Treat yourself well and take care of your neighbor"
So, It seems to me that the answer to the question we asked at the beginning becomes much more interesting and part of the fact that the leader is born and is formed of the actions he does for the people around him and not for himself. Thinking of all the communities that interact with each other, and making his people grow regardless of races, religions or beliefs, Simply by making a fruitful ecosystem that goes beyond material goods.
Being a leader is not born, you have many reasons with your good post friend, it only depends on each one to make an effort to be successful leaders @jecenteno. Greetings ; )
