Congratulations! I'm sure you have some mixed feelings about cutting the cord, but life is about growth and discovery. I always liked this one: 'Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.' Besides, you have plenty of support between here and family.
You probably don't need any more moral support, but I quit my job and am moving on too. So, I think if it's the right time then you're doing the right thing.
