THE AGONY AND EXCITEMENT OF A YOUNG ENTRPRENEUR

in #business6 years ago

I grew up in an environment where almost everything was almost like a thick dark forest - the hope of surviving the financial storms of life were like an herculean task. As a young child, I knew I was creative and driven by my desire to causing a change in my generation and owning a business that's capable of meeting the needs of human.

My journey as a young entrepreneur began at my teenage. I was barely 15years when I started making "locally-made" complementary cards. I would talk to people in my environ to buy my complementary cards. I was excelling and super excited because I was making cool sales.

Then I felt, entrepreneurship is one of the most interesting thing one should do in his/ her life if pursued correctly. Later, I began to experience an unfavorable shift in my business. I began to move from financial excitement into financial agony. It was as if the world was against my business. I lost hope so I discontinued the business and sought a job. I was lucky I got one but on the long run, the job began to drain me I no longer had time for personal development and I was getting a peanut monthly.

Later, I decided to start up a little business again. Then I started understanding that there are certain things that other entrepreneurs are doing that I was not doing right. Then I discovered that, it is normal for every entrepreneur to be challenged physically, psychologically, financially and at times emotionally - that you may have to lose your friends. Almost every one around you will be against your decisions - they will criticise you and may never believe in your dream.

One day you're on top of the world and the next day you seem not to understand what's happening to your business. Almost appearing like an entrepreneurial disease that cannot be treated in fact every muscle in you begins to tell you to pull out. If you find yourself in this situation don't pull out - remain focus. It's in this true greatness can be achieved!
