What POWER (of choice) have you?
Whenever you pick up your wallet to go shopping, understand that your choices are limited to the kinds and types of articles presented to you by the merchant(s).
In as much as you'd pride yourself in such clichés like, "Customer is king" and "Customer is always right" as sold to you by these merchants, understand that you actually do not have any choice, as it were, as long as you depend on them for your goods/articles.
You are left to choose from only what you find (made available to you by these merchants) in the #marketplace. Oftentimes, it's a case of having to choose between a rock and a hard place.
'Is that one power?'
Dear customer, #BlackFridaypolitics is around the corner; don't be too carried away with the price-slash gimmicks, and Sales rhetorics of the big merchants.
These merchants are smarter than you. Unbeknownst to you, they put up sham competitions between articles prices and shopping malls, even when the shops are owned and managed by one and the same merchant or group of merchants. They swap items and prices at will to achieve and maintain patronage and sales, and market dominance.
All I want to say is that even with your ATM card in your hand, you can't win! The #pricewar is between those powerful merchants who control a large chunk of the market share. You're just a pawn.
Don't be carried away by the rhetorics, and popularity of the big specialty stores. You might get better quality articles from 'smaller' street corner shops at bargain prices. Only if you would check first to give a try.
Don't just jump into the #BlackFriday euphoria bandwagon of the top shops in town. Use your ATM card wisely to shop for your needs. Shop for your conscience. Shop quality over popularity if you love good things. I advice you to be vigilant you don't play " Penny wise; Pound foolish".
Shop for your future and that of your children. Even if you didn't get any bargains at the end of the day, you'd be happy you were not short-changed. You'd have made a statement:
You love the finest things of life.
