And whist it does show an increase in "Real Wages" over time YAY !
It also shows a disproportionate increase in "Medical" and "Education" expenses - whilst at the same time showing a decrease in the relative cost of non-essentials like TV's, Phones and Toys. (yes these ARE non-essential)
Which probably leads a number of people to "feel" more wealthy LUCKY - while in fact the real cost of "living" and "getting ahead" just moves further out of reach for many.
