Here is my advice.
Whatever you do, do it damn well and do it with purpose. Don’t just float into a university and do a degree because everyone else is doing one.
If you want to eventually get a well-paid job, either to have a nice cushy career or to get some work experience and money to start your own business, go to university and get a degree.
This way, at university you’ll be on a mission. You’ll know why you’re there. And that should drive you to get great grades as great grades mean you’ll likely get a better job.
But if you are absolutely adamant on doing a business, and have taken into account the fact your first few businesses may fail and you’ll need funding after that (rich parents?), then forget doing a degree and go for a startup. And do it damn well.
Don’t just float around in life. Always have purpose.
Great advice sir
