@pennsif, I am a business owner in Canada and I do accept Steem for the exchange of my products. I posted my products on Steem that giving it a try. I spoke to my business partner and he agreed that it was a good move. I also accept LTC. The problem with my business model is that our Canadian shipping is destroying business. A small 1/2 pound parcel sent 2 hour drive down the road that is less than 10 inches long and less than 8 inches wide, costs almost $22 dollars to send, so shipping kills business in Canada. You truly have to be selling volume, and do a drop ship or a fullfillment type model to make National or International shipping work, sadly. Our government has the corner on our postal aside from Purolator or Fed ex, which charge even more. So no win for us. We sell locally and do well. Thanks

I'm with you on these complaints about shipping, it really hinders our online sales so much. Heck it's even cheaper for Canadians to buy from US companies and have coins shipped than it is for us to ship to them.
