7 tips on blogging photographer

in #business7 years ago

Since then, as most photographers become serious about this occupation, regardless of whether Amateur or professional, they begin to think about blogging. A photographer's blog is not only a great place to showcase their work, but also to share their thoughts with their audience. And if You still earn money on Your photos, a blog can serve as an excellent method by which You will communicate and interact with their customers. You can use the blog to teach the art of photography, to recommend literature on the subject. Photoblog can be anything you want: it's your platform, your advertisement, your gallery. But no matter which approach You choose, Your blog should be compelling content to make it popular.

Convincing blog content doesn't mean That you have to Express a lofty ideology about the art of photography. I mean, You have to give your audience the stuff they really want to hear and use for their own purposes, because they think it's really useful and interesting.

But coming up with ideas is not always easy. In fact, sometimes it's the hardest part: "what should I write about?»

If you need to fill up your blog, but that's the day you beat your head against the wall, not knowing what to write, here are a few ideas that will help you.

Use one of them, take a little bit of each, put them aside, on a "rainy day"-You never know when you might need them.

  1. Thank your readers.

It's nice to know that people are really interested in Your blog and read it like the morning paper. Surely you have a couple of readers who comment on your articles or refer to them. Write a post in which You say as important to You readers and how You appreciate them. And if any of them are blogging, write a good review about it in return.

  1. Lists and ratings.

Ratings are always interesting. Top 5, top 10, top 20. In fact, it does not matter what lists it will be. Most importantly, they are easy to read, interesting and useful. Make a list of the top 5 reasons why you like to use the 50mm lens and watch how quickly the list will increase when your readers start adding in the comments their own benefits of using this lens.

  1. Educational literature.

Aspiring photographers will love to learn. Since no person on Earth can know everything, you are certainly someone who can tell their readers anything from their practice, share their knowledge with them. So do it! It will be especially interesting if you have ideas how to save money. Articles like "how to do it" will always attract the interest of readers.

  1. Behind the scenes.

People, including non-photographers, are always interested in how the shooting takes place and what history has a certain photo. Show your readers how your works are created.

  1. Comments.

Of course, people keep coming back to your blog. Whether because they like Your work, or because they respect Your opinion (or both).

So if you are one of those whose views are shared by others, consider leaving your feedback from time to time. Do not be afraid to Express your opinion about anything that has already been mentioned somewhere. It's inevitable anyway. As long as you Express an honest opinion from your point of view, your feedback will be of interest to your audience.

  1. Your product.

If you earn a living by photography, advertise your product. This is one of the most important blog assignments. Use your blog, show your readers everything you are ready to provide them by demonstrating your product if they want to make a purchase.

  1. Interview.

Interview is the ideal place to share new ideas and inspiration with readers. Finding smart people who have reasons to Express their own opinion shouldn't be too difficult. You can conduct a detailed interview. Whether it's a complex topic or an easy one, the result will be the same: more impressions for the interviewee and more traffic on your blog. This is a win-win situation.

I hope that some ideas were helpful to You or at least become a source of inspiration for Your own ideas. In any case remember, Your goal is to keep readers interested in what you write! Godspeed!
