Well what I'm doing is not mining really. Basically companies will pay me for using my computing power. The more tasks I complete fpr these companies the more I'm paid. And the more compute power the more I can get paid.

We call it worker nodes in general although nodes may have different roles within the network. Such as processing transactions, timestamping transactions, verifying transactions, etc. According to VIVA "Once you are setup in the VIVA network, your computer will signal that it is available to complete tasks. These tasks include retrieving data, storing data, and networking between computers.
