Using Your Steemit Account For Business

in #business7 years ago (edited)

Steemit is a place for talents, people can interact, share ideas, post interesting articles and inform you about what is going on around the world. Steemit can also be a nice place to advertise your business, because of the interaction here. Your bio should be written professionally, it should tell the services you offer.

First things first, your Steemit username should be one that relates to your brand, that people can easily find you with. When someone visits your blog what should they see? They should see a business brand. Your profile photo and banner should reflect that.

Post content regularly. Regular blog posts could help increase your visibility. Try to post at least once a day or 3 times a week. Your blog posts shouldn't be long and boring, you can try to make it interesting and engaging. Such posts could help you become relevant on Steemit. Do not resteem unrelated posts to your time line.

Getting followers initially would not be easy. You can start with getting some friends follow the business account. If you have other social media accounts, you could invite your followers to Steemit, to get rewards for themselves and also follow you.

Do you have competitors on Steemit? Competition is healthy. You can learn one or two new things from your competitors. You can even follow their accounts to get regular updates on their blogs. If you are new to Steemit, you can reach out to them. But be careful so you will not be seen as a stalker.

Conversations are important. Try to relate with your followers and blog visitors, engagement can be very rewarding. Asking questions is one of the simplest ways to interact. In your posts, you can include a link to your website (if you have one). People like watching too, you could upload some videos with Dtube, or even a gif along with your post.

Everyone loves giveaways! (yeah mehn... I love giveaways 😊). You can try to organise a few giveaways, you will benefit greatly from it. The more people participate, the more people get to hear of what you do.

Steemgigs is a project I must mention. It can assist you in accomplishing your Steemit dreams. You can simply talk about your business in a post and use the Steemgigs hash-tag. You can check out @surpassinggoogle's post here.
