The avocado lover was a nice touch! :)
I'm a licensed chemical engineer from the Philippines and I haven't practiced my profession yet. In my head, I've always wanted to build my own business. I've been in a constant war with thoughts of whether I should just find a stable chemical engineering job or work on my business idea. The former is the safest path to tread, but I'm not sure if that's what I really want. The latter is pretty exciting for me, but I fear that I'll tell regret this in the future. I know that I'll keep regret at bay if I knew what I was doing. Your coaching will play a big role in this! I'm thinking of building a renewable energy company in my country.
I love your core value about becoming a business owner. Being a business owner or building one involves having both financial education and professional education balanced. Financial education is where is you learn to have money work for you rather to have money work for you while professional education teaches how to work for money. So while finding a stable chemical engineering job get a part-time business that will not only provide you all the life and important skill you need to build a business, but generates enough cash flow for the entrepreneur to transition out of it current full- time job.
