ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN MARKETTING

in #business6 years ago

Artfificial Intelligence, popularly known as AI, is simply explained as the intelligence demonstrated by machines. AI, over the years, has enabled marketers to streamline marketing campaigns and increase cyber security within Businesses. It has been of great use, and like every aspect of technology, it has relatively made a marketing so much easier, for marketers.

A lot of brands have incorporated AI into their businesses, so much that it has become an integral part. About 75% of companies consider the CRM system as a very important data source to their AI strategy. 80% of marketers believe that personalized content of AI is more effective than generic content and 44% of companies use AI to detect and deter security systems.

Consumers are not left out either, as research conducted showed that many people are more than happy to have the help of AI. In fact, 60% of consumers enjoy the use of AI powered apps like Waze and Google Maps.
Several brands have tactfully used AI to create a great customer experience for their customers and it keeps getting better, as the limitless possibilities of AI continues to grow.

Take for example, Netflix. Netflix uses AI to offer personalized recommendations to users based on their likes, rather than what they watch. They also use AI to produce video frames that are best suiting, without necessary degrading the quality, even after compressing.
For Sephora, they seem to be getting it just right with their chatbots on Kik Messenger which gives out beauty advice, plus content and products suggestions. Then there is Google with GPS, Voice Recognition, Photos, etcetera. Disney also uses AI to keep stock of products by organizing and keeping units.

Another aspect of AI which is being richly explored happens to be Article Spinning and Content Repression. SEO enables article writers to employ a specific writing technique which helps to reduce similarity ratio of redundant pages or pages with thin content. It also helps with content spinning, through which articles are rewritten or at least, some part of them.

Sometimes, it's just specific words, phrases or even paragraphs with alternate versions to provide slightly different variations. Facebook spins articles and repress contents to prevent fake news from going viral. With the use of AI, the world of marketing is definitely being taken to greater heights.

I think you are right

Artificial Intelligence sadly, has replaced lots of jobs by replacing human with robots or some high tech
Well...I won't dispute the role Google map has over conventional system of map production or GPS role in acquiring data compared to archaic land surveying system.
I feel there should be a check on this ameliorating issues amongst stakeholders. Again, Blockchain though a great tech but it is also replacing jobs by human....Imagine Smart Contract replacing or modifying legal profession.
The Future is tech anyway but there should be a limit because too much tech affects health by emitting harmful radiations.
Hope to see you at SIN2

Wonderful input @mickyscofield, I love the intellectuality behind it but unfortunately tech has taken over the world and if truly not checked many will be jobless soon.

Sadly I won't be at SIN2 , would have love to see you

Oops! My close friends ain't attending SIN2 What then would I want to do there?
I am now unsure about attending or not attending
I hope you change your mind prequel to the event
