I'd stick some AI in there

Artificial Intelligence and armed robots are definitely not a great picture to have in your head about that tech, especially if you're like me, and consider armies, wars and weapons just a mad industry to make money out of killing and destroying. Other than that I really see the potential of AI and I see some spots also where I'd stick some of it. Besides tax offices and other public institutions where precious time can be lost, especially in my undeveloped country, I would stick some in one of my favorite Steem interfaces.

For some time I have been posting on Steemhunt(@steemhunt) all sorts of cool products that I found on the internet making them a short review and giving my pros and cons in tone with the platform's guidelines. The idea is great, for me, because I am into reading tech news and staying connected to this environment and now I got the chance to also write and share with some of the techies out there what I find amazing and worth writing about. But, unfortunately, it's not all that pink in the way Steemhunt works, although their background is of that color.

As much as I like human interaction, validation and being part of a "human community" I notice that sometimes humans can't handle that much of it, as a bot could do, and feel like the best recipe for making Steemhunt, for example, close to perfect is to add some AI in it. For getting the picture accurate of what I am thinking of and where I'd put that AI "in charge" I will describe a bit how the posting works on the platform and what's not great about it.

In order to have your hunted and reviewed products posted on Steemhunt one has to of course write the article about them using the Steemhunt interface. Then, soon after you hit the "post button" your article will be listed on the platform and it becomes visible, but it's still waiting for a "human factor decision" that allows your post to still be listed in there or to be delisted if it doesn't fit the guidelines or if it's a duplicate... and that takes time. Sometimes a lot, in my opinion.

The moderators are not too many and the influx of posts is pretty heavy so there's not an easy task to read all of these and give them a YES or a NO. Until the post is reviewed it takes some time AND it is still listed on the platform, for a while, but somehow, the serious upvotes come just after it's being approved and that's all that matter. Now, in my opinion, if some sort of AI would do the moderator job the waiting time of that process would be significantly reduced and everything would be smoother and close to perfection. However, I wouldn't put the voting power in the hands of the AI also, for the Steemhunt votes which are pretty consistent some times, as I am a fan or manual/organic curation, but for the approval part of the articles I wouldn't mind "being checked" by a bot, if it can do the job fast.

After all, is nothing that "he can't learn" and automation is always welcomed in the speed era that we currently live in. Other than that, the platform is pretty great and the idea around it "fits my writing hands" like a charm as an amateur blogger. I hope that any of the admins of Steemhunt get to read my thoughts and make some changes on the topic, if possible. I'm curious also if any of you guys is a tech geek interested in this kind of blog posts and whether you would use the platform.

Thanks for your attention,
