5 sacred and incredibly beautiful places in Russia.

in #busy7 years ago

Russia is so great and diverse that it unites the incredible beauty of our planet. And indeed, what only does not exist in our Russian land: the great mountains, and transparent lakes, and recalcitrant volcanoes, waterfalls, caves ... can not be enumerated. But there are also such sacred places where the foot of the tourist has not trod. From this they, perhaps, become even more inviting and beautiful. Today we would like to tell you only about five ...
Lake of Artists. Krasnoyarsk region.
1.jpg

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, in a wonderful corner of the Ergaki Natural Park, there are many wonderful and beautiful places, many lakes, but there is one, perhaps the most tempting. It is not the first century that touches the souls of artists, photographers and simply connoisseurs of the works of nature - the Lake of Artists.

Its name was given to the lake thanks to a group of Krasnoyarsk artists who found it in the middle of the last century. And till now it is one of the most desirable places that artists want to capture in their sketches, despite the fact that the way to it is long and complicated.

The Lake of Artists is famous for its stunning landscapes, pristine nature, delicious water, and in June the lake still has underwater ice, from which in July there will be no trace. This is just a miracle! The blue surface of the water, the rocky mountains and the spruce-cedar forest - all this can be seen passing not an easy path on foot, it is capable of such, only a person with good training, neither on transport, nor on horses can be reached there. But near the lake there are excellent places for parking. There is still time left until the summer, so you still have the opportunity to get yourself in shape;)!
Valley of Geysers. Kamchatka.
6.jpg

The Valley of Geysers is a magical place, you can understand it even looking at a photo, but beyond that it is also unique! This valley is one of the largest in the whole world, and in Eurasia it is the only one.
7.jpg
You can get here only by helicopter, and even for helicopter excursions there is a strict system of rules and is created in order to maintain the balance of the ecosystem. Few places you can see so many wonders, on a small territory, on the sides of the Geysernaya River, there are more than 40 active geysers, there is a volcano and a waterfall, hovering pits, hot lakes, boiling keys and a lot of terminal sources. All this creates a storm of emotions and unforgettable impressions. In 2008, the Valley of Geysers entered the seven wonders of Russia.

Everyone who has ever been here has never forgotten the Valley of Geysers, because it has a special magnetism, because in this place you can see how "the earth breathes," it is here that you can feel all of my pristine planet Earth.

Krenitsyn Volcano. Sakhalin Region, Onekotan Island.

Krenicin volcano on the one hand is a typical "volcano in a volcano," but its dimensions are unique. This is the biggest "volcano in the volcano" in the world and it is no longer equal - 1325 meters in height! From all sides its cone is washed by the waters of the lake Koltsevoe, which in turn is the deepest freshwater body in the Sakhalin region. According to scientists, in due course its depth will only increase.
11.jpg

The lake is very unpredictable, behind the quiet and calm surface of the water there is a disobedient character. In windy weather, the waves on Lake Koltsevoe can reach 3 meters, sometimes reflecting from the inner walls of the caldera, they even form an annular motion. The volcano erupted only once in 1952.
12.jpg

In addition to its unique size, the Krenitsyn volcano is still famous for its extraordinary beauty. Caldera from the inside is covered with alder and flowers, and frequent fogs give a mysterious, at times even a fabulous look. On the island grows blueberries, cucumbers and cloudberries. Getting to the island is not easy, like all the incredible places of our planet it is difficult to reach. You have to fly by helicopter or swim by boat.

13.jpg
At the moment, nobody lives on the island of Onekotan, in 2005 the border was left by the border guards and now it does not live, which in my opinion has become even more attractive. Summer there is cool, often there are fogs and windy, and winters on the contrary warm average temperature of +4.

Putorana Plateau. Krasnoyarsk region.
14.jpg

In Russia, in the center of distant Siberia, beyond the Arctic Circle there is an incredible lost world and neither of which is any more on planet Earth. Endless expanses of wild nature, where animals are not afraid to approach people, and in the rivers there is still a huge taimen where there are so many waterfalls that it is difficult to count, and in winter they freeze and turn into fairy-tale icefalls.
15.jpg

Putorana Plateau is a fantastic creation of nature, the edge of lakes, mountains with flat peaks and waterfalls, a home for rare animals, a world of wildlife. There are still places where the foot of a man did not even walk, if only because of the size of the plateau comparable to Great Britain - 2.5 million hectares.
16.jpg

17.jpg

Tourists here are very few, but each of the lucky ones who visited the plateau, found an occupation on its own. Inveterate fishermen will be happy with the catch, divers will appreciate Lake Vivi with crystal clear water, fans of extreme alloys are waiting for a lot of rivers, photographers, artists, lovers of berries, everyone will find something of their own.

Ordinsky Cave. The Perm region.

18.jpg

The Order Cave is the longest gypsum cave in the world, the longest underwater cave in Russia and the second longest in Eurasia. Not all this fairy cave is under water, part of the cave is "dry", which is not very common. The length of the dry part is 300 meters, the submarine is 4,600 meters and this is only the length.

19.jpg

The cave received its name in honor of the village of Orda of the Perm region, on the outskirts of which it is located. The Order cave was actively explored in the early 1990s and has not yet been fully studied. How pleasant it is to realize that not all places in the world are open and there is still room for discoverers and incredible discoveries. In these caves there are very often new moves that attract researchers from all over the world.

Despite the fact that the water in the cave is crystal clear, which is a rarity for such a cave plan, the cave is quite insidious and a simple swing of the flipper can completely deprive the visibility. In general, the passage to the cave is open only to certified cave divers. But thanks to the work of photographer Victor Lyagushkin, we can at least partially submerge the underwater kingdom of the Order Cave, which strikes with its mystery, crystal water and peace.
