Here I am again, join me in exploring this sleeping land in a way that this place is such a quiet & mysterious place i have ever been. And the mystery of it brought my foot here. My curiousness, my eagerness, & my love of nature pushes me to travel here.

When i was a child, i heard so much stories about this place. Lot of something not good is usually the conclusion of those stories. More likely the stories fall on witches & all something related to it. So let start how did i get there.

My starting point is from the Queen city of the South CEBU Philippines. From the Cebu South Bus Terminal going to the Lilo-an Port part of Santander. Its about 11 municipalities from Cebu proper to Santander. It will take almost 4 hours or shall i say 3.46 hrs to be exact bus travel. Next would be a Ferry trip going to Sibulan port of Dumaguete island , this is about 10-15 minutes boat ride. and for final destination its almost 2 hrs boat ride again from Sibulan to Siquijor port.

Lucky for me that when we plan to travel this place we have someone who cater us there. My i mention to you my friend from Sta. Maria Siquijor, Jecily Gapol Arnaiz. She all take care of us and the rest of her gang, like her lola, aunt and uncle of her who pick-up us from the port (but we paid a little for the fuel & driving fee)

But for those who don't have someone whose from there, you can easily tour the place like your place anywhere you are. There is a motorcycle for rent, 4 wheels, or pedicab or jeep for you to be in there beautiful nature tourist spots. They also have hotels for you to stay, i will mention some: White Villas Resort, One Sunset View Resort, Gold View Resort these is located in San Juan Siquijor. Tori's Paradise Isla Inn and Kamp Aninipot is in Siquijor, Siquijor. and in Lazi they have Lazi Beach Club.

As i remember, i think we drop by almost 7 churches. But one of the most admire church was in San Isidro Church, this is the oldest church in the island. this is in Lazi, Siquijor. It was built last 1884, the design of it is more on neoclassical. i got this photo from Belle. Thanks.

BALETE TREE
This balete tree is about 400-500 yr old with a spring at its base. According to some resident from there, No time ever from there lives that the water on the base on it dry up, even during summer or even EL Nino. One thing you can do in this place is you can have foot spa. There are some variety of fishes on it. But all i can advise to you is be QUIET when you get there.

CANTABON CAVE
This the most adventure part for me, going under the cave. I love this so much. The adventure will take about 3 hrs going back & forth. The biggest cave i ever got into. Inside it of course, stalagmites & stalactites. 543848_465106226892072_1004949173_n.jpg

There also a pool like area66859_465105846892110_640697368_n.jpg
A bell shape stalactites![9566_465106420225386_1852609329_n.jpg]This is the most narrow passage area we ever encounter. That i need to crawl just to get in. (https://ipfs.busy.org/ipfs/QmP1JmRQdCV9wtisMPETcVFM7gfdxeSgXP3eG6Mz1tVvDD)67937_465106213558740_1403694478_n.jpg

And the last or shall i say the final destination of the cave is the KING's BED.This is it 305996_465106710225357_1060803724_n.jpg

According to one of our tourist guide they are still working on the next route of the cave because there is more on it. Hopefully when i be back 10-20 years from now probably will see it.

In Siquijor also one of my most exciting plan is going in there beach. As i go searching there are lot of beautiful beaches there. But my heart fall in love in Salagdoong Beach.539057_465101323559229_709151817_n.jpg

Going there you must use this down stairs about 200 blocks. This is just about 3-5 minutes walk and you'll see the 3 tiered waterfall & a swimming hole w/ a clear water. I have try this swing jump. and it was fun, it was my first time. hahaha.547464_469125616490133_1781959667_n.jpg

And it all Ends there. Anyways, what i heard when i was a child is totally the opposite one, I found this place a very beautiful one, One of the most treasured place we ever have, here in the Philippines, Its SIQUIJOR
