"I love these queues where all these counterrevolutionaries flee the country"

When you walk through streets in any city or town of Venezuela, in these days, you will can immediately detect a large number of health problems that the Venezuelan is suffering.

It is really amazing for people who are not here, to understand that for "EVERYTHING" you have to make a queue, go to a bank and wait in line, in a pharmacy you make a queue, to a supermarket and there is a queue, you go to pee in a service station on any road and there you also have to queue, however the saddest thing is that even to bury a loved one in the cemeteries and chapels, there is also a queue.
A queue to buy domestic gas.

A queue to buy food.

If you want to enter the bank you have to make a long queue.

And these are only three examples; but, as I indicated you above, for any activity that you need to carry out, you must make a queue. That is another great benefit of Socialism of the XXI Century.
The common denominator of the mega crisis in which the country is submerged is that "The Queue".
The truth is that seeing these super-queues, mothers, fathers, grandparents and in many cases whole families waiting to see what they get to buy and eat, we realize the great failure of the Socialism to guarantee something that is basic for a country, as is the diet of its citizens; This situation, for example, has affected the Venezuelan in such a way that even the behavior has been transformed and not for good precisely, the violence, aggressiveness, bad manners and a host of other things have surfaced in the face of reality and the despair to get some food or any other article of first necessity.
What happens daily in the famous queues is definitely overwhelming, if a product of first necessity comes to any small supermarket even in the midst of pushing, grabbing, screaming, sweating, heat can happen, even people have died and that is symptom that for many the despair of being immersed in a queue for food, dear readers, means that the people are going hungry, there is no other word to describe it.
And the socialist rulers? Definitely we can only say that those gentlemen do not live here, it seems that for them we are in Switzerland, Finland or Luxembourg; In the same way we have heard other spokesmen of the government to express very happily and also affirmed that people "it's very well in the queues" and that the queues are "chic and tasty", as if they were queuing to enter some Disney World theme park; Nothing could be further from reality.
Rhetorical soup.

There are many other things or points that we could add; but, for the moment we will not continue to distress you. Thank you for your attention..
... Until the next post,
Greetings,
CJAO20
I just can't imagine what it must be like to live there and I feel so bad for you and others. I sure wish that life would change for the better and fast. It is good that you are letting everyone know the sad truth. Is there anything I can do to help? Please let me know! You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers @cjao20.
Thank you @whatisnew for your support and for your prayers ... And the mere fact that you in the community are aware of our situation and of course help to download information to other people, is a great help for Venezuelans. We need the international community to continue to be aware of our situation ... Greetings.
This post reminds me of the book that I just finished of the Nazi invasion of France. The book is called The Nightingale by Kristen Hannah. The images of the queues during the war where the Nazis requisitioned all the good food and confiscated homes and possessions leaving Parisians destitute and starving and destroyed everyone's gardens. Everyone was thin and dying of disease like you are describing these conditions as it is happening in Venezuela. This is abominable and a crime against your people. I pray that God will step in and intervene for you and for your people. What do you do for a living?
Precisely today, President Trump's main advisor to Latin America, Juan Cruz, indicated that the United States accused Maduro (President of Venezuela) of committing "crimes against humanity" ... every day in our country thousands of people flee from this chaos ... I am a Chemical Engineer and I work in a manufacturing company in the country, but that has also been very affected with this situation. As far as possible, I will continue publishing more information related to this catastrophe.
Thanks for posting on how conditions are. I do hope positive change will come.
