RE: How scammers are destroying Steemit and what we all can do about it.

in #busy7 years ago

Some of those followers (myself included) were already here and stumbled upon his excellent content and have been enriched by it. Other people followed him over from youtube or twitter.Your first example is completely unfair to list on a post about scamming. @haejin built a following over the last few months of over 8k followers.

Haejin post his prediction about cryptocurrencies using Technical Analysis. He usually posts between 6-8 times a day. He does a morning post and an evening post about bitcoin and a few posts about other coins. He also does tutorial videos to help viewers to learn technical analysis and trading techniques. Haejins 8k + followers request analysis on as many as 50 coins a day.

Haejin posts are receiving as many as 10k views and as many as 1k upvotes. Many of his followers have purchased steem.

Please explain to me how growing a following of supporters, bringing many new people to steem, encouraging them to purchase steem power, and providing them with the content that they desire is deserving of being listed above @checkthisout as a scammer or abuser?

Is @davidpackman next? He is bringing new people to steem from youtube, he posts multiple times a day. If a whale finds his content compelling and starts upvoting it, will we call him a scammer too?

Depends on how you see it. And you are the one who named Haejin when I might be refering to others who spam the system with poor contents....many fishes in the water isnt it?

How coy of you. So do you include @haejin in with your spammers?

you included him not me...never mentioned him ...so take your cynic comment to your post , not here...

You didn't mention him. You mentioned a situation just like his. So if you think he is in the wrong call him out by name. If I'm mistaken and you aren't talking about him then please say so.

Posting the way you did, then saying "I might be referring to others" is about as weasely as it gets. Especially when you say this "Good point, lets expose spams ...thanks for your comment".
