Hello steemians!
In a bid to get the old brain running and have individuals spur up their creativity, I created the short horror story contest a while back.
It is currently in its 4th episode as of today, and im happy its all going.
As an entertainer, I strive to spur the creative mind and have people create scenarios worthy of oscar awards, horror awards and such.
Last week winner was @jacksondavies, for his ingenious infusion of horror, aliens and invasion of earth.
Well, thats what the judge got from his short comment anyway.

A SCARY MOMENT
As i step inside my room i felt some goose pimples all over my body, i reach out for the light switch but i couldn't find it. I notice a footstep coming towards me the next thing i felt was a hand on my shoulder immediately i close my eyes standing still i heard someone, Whispered to my right ear i have finally got you and i felt a sharp nail on my neck it was so sharp that i taught my neck has been cut off.

Here is my entry
Escaping the battering from her stepfather she walked into the forest without being thoughtful. Now she has lost her path. She heard scary voices so she hid herself behind a tree. Suddenly someone held her, her heart trembled with fear and her glowing skin becomes pale. She looked and it was her brother who had came to her rescue, she stand up and he held her hands as they walk. She later on looked at him and behold it was a beast that was holding her hand, the beast raised his hands to hit her as she let out a scream.

DEATH TALE
Who is in my house????I heard the tap releasing droplets of water, I ran to the kitchen and saw blood flowing in my sink, my name was written on the wall with blood. There was echoes of sounds I couldn't make meaning from, I shivered as i tiptoed to grab a knife. I saw a shadow not of human, a monster with three heads,dangling tail and long coiled nails.. My legs got stocked,I stretched out my hands to reach for the knife, in a nano second the knife was in my stomach with my intestines purged out.

Before I rented the apartment, the old man said It’s cursed but who cares what an old beggar says.
My light bulb flickered, just after dinner and it did again before bed,some connection problem I thought. Something came that I know nothing of until I crawl into bed with a hungry werewolf to my right and to my
left two headed blood sucking demon. The light went off and .................. the light went off and....... and....and.... and.... To be continued
This is really nice, cool one
I pretended to be asleep as I watch the man drag In the remains of my parents. Then he took their blood and wrote something on the wall before entering under my bed. Few minutes later after my eyes settled with the darkness, I gasped when I read what was written on the wall I know you're awake
Scary!
Scary, scary as scary can be.
I don't know why I looked up, but when I did I saw him there. He stood against my window. His forehead rested against the glass, and his eyes were still and light and he smiled a lipstick-red, cartoonish grin. And he just stood there in the window. My wife was upstairs sleeping, my son was in his crib and I couldn't move I froze and watched him looking past me through the glass.Oh, please no. His smile never moved but he put a hand up and slid it down the glass, watching me. With matted hair and yellow skin and face through the window.I couldn't do anything. I just stayed there, frozen, feet still in the bushes I was pruning, looking into my home. He stood against my window.
Last night a friend rushed me out of the house to catch the opening act at a local bar's music night. After a few drinks I realized my phone wasn't in my pocket. I checked the table we were sitting at, the bar, the bathrooms, and after no luck I used my friend's phone to call mine.After two rings someone answered, gave out a low raspy giggle, and hung up. They didn't answer again. I eventually gave it up as a lost cause and headed home.I found my phone laying on my night stand, right where I left it.

It was so Scary moment
You get home, tired after a long day's work and ready for a relaxing night alone. You reach for the light switch, but another hand is already there.
I woke up to hear knocking on glass. At first, I thought it was the window until I heard it come from the mirror again

I begin tucking him into bed and he tells me, "Daddy, check for monsters under my bed." I look underneath for his amusement and see him, another him, under the bed, staring back at me quivering and whispering, "Daddy, there's somebody on my bed."
It was 1:00am I needed to ease myself on opening the door I saw a very scary image just in front of my door, my lantern went off immediately, I was feeling cold and my hair was raising.
I managed to shot the door and fell to the ground my heart beating very fast, Immediately the room was no longer conducive for me, rats running as if there are being chased by a cat, cockroaches flying around and finally plates and pots falling and making noise. I said to my self this can only be a dream.
On getting to my bed I started hearing foot steps I managed to lay down and behold a beautiful lady was there with me on the bed I wanted to shout but my voice was gone, her fingers like that of Jezebel, my alarm 🕒 started ringing and my breath was leaving me as she pierced my heart with a nails.....
Wow! I scare easy but I'm gonna try my hand at this. I know a Steemian who writes great horror stories though. Sending to him asap!

Pregnant Lucy sits tiredly, happily dreaming about birthing and meeting her baby. She feels her baby kick and smiles, gently rubbing her huge baby bump. Suddenly she feels a painful contraction and then another! “I love you little one but, it isn’t time”, she whispers. Her belly begins to undulate horribly and Lucy screams in terrified pain, fat tears dripping from her eyes. She is bleeding heavily and screaming in pain and terror as her belly is torn open from inside and an ugly demonlike creature crawls out. “I love you too Mama, it is time” says the little horror.

I stood at what had been the door, confused.
"where's my house?" I asked myself. Did my house metamorphose into a cave?
Then I saw her. Eyes blazing, teeth sharp as knives and her face contorted into a cruel rotting mask. Somehow, I knew this grotesque face belonged to my landlady.
She pointed a crooked finger at me. "we eat people who aren't our kind" she said "join us,or we kill you".
I jolted in fright and discovered that I was on the edge of a precipice.
As I plunged to my doom, her sinister cackle pierced the air.

It was night ,i was alone when the lights went off and as i reached for the matches, it was put in my hand. I had a very loudly voice from far said,"have it".
It was (2am) in the morning, I woke up to use the bathroom,I switched on my bedside lamp.. then I saw an old hag laying next to me . Immediately the power went off
And what happened next?. Oh the suspense.

I took a stroll down to auditorium to finish the night cleaning up today's school event. Unfortunate for me, bulbs short-circuited a while ago, and I had to fix the wiring. Approaching the circuit box, I began to feel unnerved but thought nothing of it. Each wire I fix, some light would come on, but slight chuckles would pervade the auditorium. I thought I was going insane when it grew more intense but finally I fixed the last circuit and it seemed to stop.
Then I turn my gaze towards the auditorium and saw the graduating class all masked up.
My name kept ringing subtly,tenderly,soft and shaky "ogunsssss oooguunsss I woke up (yet my eyes closed) another dream I thought . Opening one eyes gradually behold a shiny white garment gazing sternly at me, I gently closed back my eyes, startled, wanting to figure out what I saw in my head I thought to myself "let me take a gaze one more time " this time with both eyes. I gazed from beneath, behold no legs I emboldened my mind to finish the vouyage but before I could put 1,2things together...a tap on my back I felt I flew outta my bed with the speed of light only for me to realize my brother had to wake me up to ask if he should take my new white lacrae material which I hung up on the door to the tailor as planned earlier. i was day dreaming

Physicists theorize that multiple versions of ourselves exist in infinite universes. A theory I found to be true the day I saw a masked man kill innocents.
I was next in line to be murdered when he froze; he pulled off his mask and to my greatest shock I was staring at my face. His image flickered and disappeared in a flash of light.
I fled the city that day and have wandered ever since. I used to think that I was alone in the universe, now I dread the day I will find another like me.
With tears in my eyes, I watched from my hiding place as they cradled the body of a baby, his head lolling sickly as it kept slipping from His blood-stained hands. His wife looked over his shoulder, a look of utter dismay on her face.
The drool oozing from her mouth.
“I guess we’ll make do with older, harder meat” he said, throwing my baby brother over his shoulders. No point letting a good thing waste, she said, as she started to eat from the stomach.
With that, my father started walking towards me.
