Hello everybody! Most recently I was lucky to visit Thailand. About this exotic country my daughter told me. She and her husband's family were there more than once and literally fell in love with this mysterious country.
To begin with, when you fly from snowy and frosty Siberia to a hot country, you literally go crazy with the temperature difference! In Thailand, very hot and very humid, because of the proximity of the ocean. Our plane landed in Bangkok in the morning, where we took a bus to Pattaya. We reached the hotel quickly and comfortably. The bus had a powerful air-conditioner, and on TV talked about the country, its history, customs and excursions. Worthy information and it was very useful. I even learned two words in Thai "hello" and "thank you". About the hotel especially I will not write, as it was supposed to only spend the night there. All our days were devoted to excursions.
Thailand is amazing, there is something to see from the beautiful to the terrible. A large number of various crocodile farms, tiger, snake and various zoos and all this in the wild!
On the crocodile farm, we were offered crocodile meat, and on the snake farm a snake soup. About the taste I can not tell, I could not overcome myself and try these delicacies. Snake farm is a territory where there is a serpentarium at the same time, with various reptiles in cages. From harmless snakes to scary venomous. Some peacefully doze, wrapped around a branch, while others menacingly hiss, swaying in different directions. Creepy! There is also a small arena where performances are held, in which a chest is put in a circle and the show begins! From the chest one by one gets cobras, pieces so 10-15. Cobras inflate their hoods, swing from side to side, trying to intimidate their so-called animal trainers.
There are times when a person does not have time to dodge a snake and the cobra causes its terrible poisonous bite. We were told that people working with cobra get a series of vaccinations with snake venom and only after that are allowed to work with the cobra. But after a snake bite, they still get sick and it takes some time to recover. These are courageous people, but at the same time with a sense of humor, though a little original. At the end of the performance, a rubber hose, the size of a snake, is pulled out of the trunk and rushes to the audience to the podium. The tribune empties instantly ... scary and creepy! After the presentation, tourists wander around the farm, someone tries a snake soup, someone goes to the pharmacy for ointment on snake venoms, someone buys alcohol with snakes and some local roots.
On the elephant farm, we were shown a variety of shows. Elephants are very intelligent animals. Some elephants drew pictures, dipping the brush in different colors, applying smears and dots to the canvas, and as a result, the picture turned out, the other elephants made massage with their trunk and feet, carefully lowering them onto the human body, the third participated in a colorful show and, of course, skating elephants. When you climb on this giant is literally breathtaking, and a small brisk elephant driver, laughs and sings a song in Russian: oh frost, frost!
We visited a tiger farm where beautiful, graceful predators grow out of small kittens. When allowed to feed a tiger baby, you come to indescribable delight! Tiger cub is both cute and small, but already clenches teeth and growls, just like dad.
My daughter
Today I showed you a bit and told you about the farms in Thailand. In the next report I will tell you about other places on our tour. I hope that you will like it, and I will remember with pleasure this fairy-tale country.
