614gr of all-purpose flour
210ml of milk
15gr of yeast
5gr of salt
2 eggs
90gr of sugar
5gr of sweet anise
40ml cane syrup
4gr Vanilla
INGREDIENTS FOR THE STUFFING
12gr of sweet anise
5gr of cinnamon in powder
Grated tablet of raw cane sugar (quantity needed)
250gr of grated white cheese
Preheat the oven to 200º
PREPARATION
First step, the yeast is fermented, placing half of the warm milk in a container, add the yeast and a spoonful of sugar, place 3 or 4 tablespoons of wheat flour; mix well and cover. It should be left for 20 minutes.
Second step, in a large and comfortable container that serves to knead, place the flour, sugar, salt, eggs, anise, vanilla and syrup.
Third step, once ready the yeast is placed with the rest of the ingredients, begin kneading placing the rest of the milk, once it is well integrated everything is placed on a table so that the kneading becomes better , this should last approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
Fourth step, the dough is stretched with the rolling pin and the filling is placed, first the grated tablet of raw cane sugar, the sweet anise, then the cinnamon and finally the cheese, it is rolled forming a kind of snake.
Step five, cut pieces of two fingers of thickness more or less, place on a buttered tray and take to the oven for 25 minutes.
