Ha, ha, ha. We're almost twins @davemccoy. I've posted every day apart from Christmas day and my birthday since December 12, 2017.
I've been buying a bit of Steem since the price dropped to $1.17 and I'm not really bothered about the dollar amount. It can be demotivating when I notice a post is earning less than 10 cents but the amount of Steem Power I'm earning is not less from what I understand. So I choose not to focus on the dollars.

And that is good that you started later on your steem purchases and I agree completely that focusing on the dollars of the post value is not something that is important... You are doing it right and of course I would say that since we are almost twins :D :D :D
