How Prussian blue forms in a solution of Potassium hexacyanoferrate(III)

In my previous posts I've showed you how Prussian blue forms on filter paper. Well, most of the reactions occur in solutions. So I thought that it would be interesting to show you how Prussian blue forms in a aqueous solution.

So I made a solution of Potassium hexacyanoferrate(III).

And added a few drops of Ferric chloride (Iron (III) chloride) to this solution.

A precipitation reaction occurs, the Prussian blue forms as a precipitate and falls down to the bottom of the beaker.
