What is the first thing that comes into your mind when you hear or read the word TRASH?
We all know that trash is something that we throw after we used or something that is not useful at all. We usually throw things because for us it is worthless and it will just consume a space in our house. Sometimes we also consider old stuff as a trash like old clothes, shoes, toys etc.
In this article I’m referring a different kind of trash, a trash that most people ignored.
Now let me introduce to you guys the trash wherein you can get a money in just a snap.
Carton/Box– I congregate these things after groceries. Usually when my family decided to buy goods that we will ingest for a month it always comes in a box.
Plastic Bottles – Every time I buy soda, mineral water, energy drink etc. I perpetually keep the plastic bottles. Sometimes I ask my siblings to give me the plastic bottles after they consume it.
Can/s – Everything that is in can I always keep them. Nowadays most of preservative foods are in cans.
Plastic– Most of the plastic that I usually gather are broken hangers, plastic bowls and ice cream container/tub or anything that’s made of plastic that was broken or has a hole.
Bottles
After I accumulate these junk I instantly go to the nearest Junkshop in our area. I talked to the owner and since I have a lot of junk which I can’t carry by myself the owner said that they will send a service vehicle in our house.
Below are the values in peso of each type of junk.
₱ 4 /k Carton/Box
₱ 4 /k Plastic Bottles
₱ 5 /k Can/s
₱ 10 /k Bottles
₱ 15 /k Plastic and Steel/Metal
So when you buy something that includes all the things that I discussed above, don’t hesitate to keep it. We will get money from it and at the same time we are helping each other to keep our environment CLEAN AND GREEN.

thanks for the helpful tips @jackie02
my lola always sell the plastic bottles that i have gathered.
when i was still working at a certain tv station, i collect plastic bottles that were thrown near the vending machine in our office. when the bottles were sold, we accumulated a hundred and fifty pesos. so after that, i made it a habit to collect plastic bottles and insist my friends or companions not to throw it away and donate it to me. very useful, indeed. 😉
Wow that's nice kuya. That is actually a good habit. :)
nah, I remember my grandmother with this article, she used to collect a lot of plastic bottled after she does laundry with her bosses, when I 12 she always asking me to sell it to the near junkshop on our subdivision.
