Unmitigated, the brand from the United States (US) is targeting to expand the market not only in Surabay and East Java, but extends to the East Indonesia market.
Some of the reasons underlying this move, according to King Hartono Hamidjaja, Country Director, PT. Stanley Black & Decker, partly because of the growing market potential.
"The economic growth in Surabaya and East Java as well as social stability is quite stable and the market is growing positively," said King Hartono, Wednesday (20/12/2017).
Expansion is done by this brand is by opening shop and service in the form of Experience Hub and Authorized Service Center.
This Service Center is the result of cooperation with PT Semesta Jaya Kimia, one of the official distributor of SBD.
"Over the past two years, Eastern Indonesia has been receiving investment boost from the central government and private sector in the form of stimulus related to the acceleration of adequate infrastructure development, we responded to the challenge by providing the right tools to complete the work efficiently and safely for its users," said King Hartono .
During this time, SBD already has more than 40 distributors throughout Indonesia which includes traditional market segments, industry, and modern.
It has also invested in after-sales service by establishing 22 Authorized Service Centers in 16 cities throughout Indonesia.
In addition to targeting markets in East Java and East Indonesia, existence and operations Experience Hub in Surabaya, is expected to answer the challenge to become a world-class tooling company.
