@vickywiz has got it spot on. Think of the price of snacking missed meals when visiting in the city, and compare the price to a piece of fruit, or pieces. I live in berry farmland. I try to remember to carry fruit every time I go into city, it may not be a meal replacement, but a handful of berries and/or a banana is much better than coffee and cake or take-away.
