The other day I had a post written in busy.org, saved as a draft, all ready to submit later on. You see, I was going to be posting it from my mobile, while roaming around and not at a computer to submit it.
Then when it came time to post, I was unable to. The big blue "Post" button was there, but it was covered by another blue button, the "go to top of page" navigation up arrow:
Here I was ready to post, but I couldn't. The mobile design was preventing me from posting! Eek! What horror! What do I do?
Well at the time I wasn't thinking to well, so I waiting until I got home to post.
But then I realized there is a solution to load the "Desktop site" from a mobile page:
Success! Now I can actually click on the "Post" button to submit my post draft next time, as the "Post" button was liberated from the domination of the evil top-of-page navigation up-arrow :
If you ever try to "Post" something on your mobile from busy.org, try this "fix" out and then you can ;) I was using Chrome on Android. Maybe that feature isn't in some other browsers, I don't know.
I just wanted to share my state of dismay and the resolution to bring happiness to my posting mobile abilities on busy.org again :)
Thanks. Peace.
Sounds all so familiar. I manoeuvre it by allowing auto rotate on my phone and then I can seamlessly post.
It didn't work for me... the buttons just went to the corners and one covered the other still...
Unfortunate.
It's weird really, I checked it out and the button doesn't appear for me unless I go from portrait to landscape mode and it disappears again, I use Chrome on Android too.
I tried that, but it was still covering it up :/
The cover over the Post button is pretty amusing :)
Occasionally I'll write a post on the mobile, but usually in notepad to tidy up and complete later on.
Thanks for the tip!
Yes, it's funny but a pain. Others say they don't have the issue, but I wasn't so lucky ;)
I ever post twice using busy.org from my phone, I also use chrome on Android. There are no obstacles in posting.
Lucky you. I can't get the buttons to separate in portrait or landscape on mobile default, only desktop mode.
Great catch. I was able to circumvent this by rotating my screen.
Great Post sir
Thanks for sharing blog. I appreciate your busy..https://steemit.com/life/@konasharmin/the-drawing-relaxes-me
Oi you’re braver than I, running chrome on your phone. Not sure if it’s still an issue but chrome used to access your microphone and listen to conversations. They might have changed that but I don’t trust ‘em.
I hate when sites do this, one of the gaming sites I visit once a year has the full site button at the bottom which you need to use if you want to enter any promo code or anything but it’s covered by an icon that leads you to another part of the site. Very frustrating to spend time clicking in certain little corners to get what you want lol
If you regularly need to post at specific times steempeak.com has a scheduling option.
I will check it out and post a fix on busy if i can reproduce. If u wait a bit, button should disappear
I faced the same issue too. But I wasn't wise enough to switch to desktop view. It's great idea! Thanks.
Thank you, Sir, for sharing such a beautiful post, your posts are so beautiful. Your post is very beautiful. I congratulate you on behalf of many congratulations.
